DC11

A few of us made the trip down (and up) to this years DC11 show held at Turweston Aerodrome. After setting off early sunday morning in the rain, i wasn’t expecting to have the best day. (Also had to replace a coilpack on saturday afternoon. Managed to get a new one just before the shop closed :) ) Anyway, the further south we went the weather started to pick up (SHOCK!) slightly. Although it wasn’t much, as it was pretty cloudy all day long. But dry! Right less of my ramblings and onto the show.

It was my 1st time at a DC show this year, and 1st impressions were good. I liked the location of the show with planes dotted about on site, then there was a large pond in the middle too. Made for nice backdrop, which i didn’t really capitalise on at all with the photo’s. Ooops.

I didn’t really take that many photo’s either, so here’s the best of what i did. Enjoy.

Team Japspeed

The Team JapSpeed Subaru drift car has been STOLEN. This happened earlier tonight. It was taken from the Maxxis Tyres (UK) Stand at the Performance Vauxhall show at Santa Pod.

If you have any information or saw ANYTHING please get in touch with the guys at Japspeed … Or at the very least copy this onto your facebook wall, twitter or anywhere else that you feel fit.

Lets try and get these tw@ts caught who did this.

Now share, share, share.

Thanks.

Worthersee 2011 30th anniversary!

For the second time I made the trip to Austria, Velden @ Worthersee

I was totaly exited for the 1200km trip to Austria.

Got up sundaymorning around 5.30 in the morning and got of at 6.30, I was aiming to get there around 18.30.

But I was a bit scared of the wheels, because it was the first trip longer then 25km from my house.

After 150km, the stress was gone, and put the pedal to the floor, and peaked around 210/220 km/h with the mk5.

When we arived at Worthersee around 16.45 we knew it was gonna be epic, because last year around the same time there were not so many cars already on the road.

So we did the trip in 10h 30minutes, not bad, not bad at all.

We arived at the hotel, causse Ellen needs to rest after the long trip.

So I unpacked my car, pulled of the blue tape, checked the tires, the bolt, …. all good!

So I headed of to go cruizin down to some friends.

The first Km’s were awsome, thousands of people, hunderds of VAG car, am I in heaven?

Hell yeah, I was in VAG-Heaven.

All cars where represented, from MK1 till MK6 GTI’s, G60′s, VR6 (turbo) R32 (turbo or biturbo) , RS2, 3, 4 ,5 ,6 , ….

There is no doubt about it , next year I will be back, but again a bit longer then this year, maybe 8 or 10 days.

Here are some of the first pics I took.

Hope you enjoy this.

This was al for today!
